Audiovisual duo from Bullas Murcia, formed by Ana Espín and Pecado Pixelado.
As kindred spirits of creativity and activism, Ana Espín and Pecado Pixelado have formed an artistic duo since 2014, dedicated to exploring and expanding the boundaries of experimental audiovisual to address contemporary social and political issues. From here their work becomes a space for dialogue and critique on identity, social inequality and the impact of art on society.
Driven by their passion for popular culture, these artists have created a unique and irreverent visual world, where imagination and social critique intertwine to forge a powerful and engaging rhetoric. Together, they combine their knowledge and skills to construct works charged with humour, irony and provocation.
In 2019, they presented an audiovisual piece inspired by the censored documentary "Lejos de los árboles" by Spanish filmmaker Jacinto Esteva, a cult work that suffered from Franco's censorship for revealing the dark and cruel side of our traditions.
In their most recent work 2024, they collaborate on a track for the experimental music compilation "Ghost Stories 3", released by the Scottish label Dustopian Frequencies.
The audience recognises Ana en Pecado as a creative and disruptive voice in the current art scene, inviting reflection and the construction of a more just and inclusive society through her art.
Ana en Pecado, have recently collaborated on a compilation called Ghost Stories 3, with the track La Fase, on the experimental music label Dustopian Frequencies. Scotland, released on 14 June 2024.
Part 3 of Ghost Stories series where artists are invited to choose or imagine an eldritch tale to realise in music. Eight very different pieces have been curated by The Owls Of The Oracle to haunt the listeners ears with sonic delights and musical frights.

Far From The Trees. 2019.
This is a session conducted by Ana Espín. Subsequently, together with Pecado Pixelado, they have created this audiovisual piece, mainly collecting images from the documentary “Far from the trees,” a cult work by the filmmaker Jacinto Esteva.
It was considered a cursed movie, suffered the censorship of Franco because it showed the hidden and cruel face of our traditions. It is a reflection of our identity, it is brave and shocking.
