Juan Jose Agueda is a Spanisch  interdisciplinary artist who uses various artistic
languages ​​such as drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and video to explore
the relationships and conflicts between the real and the imaginary, which
articulate the construction of what we call reality. Through the use of different
iconographic elements and referents of fantastic art, cinema and literature, his
work is a reflection around the diverse representations of the monstrous and the
deformed in the visual culture of our time. In short, through his visual universe the
aim is to put a face to the threats, fears and uncertainties that characterize the
contemporary world.
