BANDCAMP
They will understand us through sounds.
Sonic project directed by Sergio Sánchez that aims to record the present history through field recordings. OTHER PROJECTS
REPUBLICA IBERA RUIDISTA (RIR)
is a new sound archive that aims to represent the sound concerns of artists from the peninsula and Latin America. Aesthetics is not decisive for publishing and disseminating sonic works, but rather their political character. Contributors range from noise, field recordings, electroacoustics, social phonography, power electronics, sound poetry, and improvisation.
DEEP LISTENING. PAULINE OLIVEROS
EdictOràlia Música 2019
Deep Listening is a practice created by the composer Pauline Oliveros with the aim of improving her own listening skills and sharing them with other composers, performers and the general public. Spread by its creator in workshops around the world and especially at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (New York) and Mills College (Oakland, California), these activities are accessible to anyone interested in listening.
Finally, her work is translated for the first time for the Spanish-speaking public by Francisco Campillo García.
RED KITE
Aesthetic of error, centered on the less complacent drone and ambient genres. The post-digital microsounds, with the use of software and instruments such as samplers and some low-fi synthesizers, are the principle reference. The compositional structures are based on glitch techniques, with an isolationist edge in his sound and with a sense of repetition as a nodular element that redirects the noises, and the subliminal melodies of his compositions.
